Have you ever thought about taking a gardening class or workshop during your vacation? If so, then Cambria Nursery has just what the doctor ordered. Located on the Central California coast, Cambria Nursery offers a wide range of gardening classes, including their very unique living birdhouse workshop.

“It’s definitely our most popular workshop,” says Nancy Caldwell of Cambria Pines Nursery. The three-hour class costs $145 and it includes everything you need to construct a miniature garden in a birdhouse, complete with a drip watering system. It’s very unique and it makes a great addition to any yard. Says Nancy, “The great thing about the living birdhouse workshop is that you leave with a finished project.”

Cambria Nursery is nicely accessible, with wide level pathways and accessible parking near the entry. They have a wide selection of plants and yard art, and it’s a great place to get landscaping ideas (even if you don’t purchase anything).

Visit cambrianursery.com for more information on their living birdhouse workshops.

Cambria Nursery is located next door to Cambria Pines Lodge, which offers a variety of lodging packages, including a midweek gardeners getaway package. Visit moonstonehotels.com for more details.
