Herzog Wine Cellars marks their 21st year in business with the opening of a new winery and tasting room in Oxnard California. Slated to open its doors later this month, the new facility will be the largest new winery in California since the boom of the late 1990s.

“If you are selling premium wines and you are growing you need a larger home,” said David Herzog, CEO of Herzog Wine Cellars. Not only will the new facility give Herzog Wine Cellars more production space, it will also allow visitors the opportunity to see how the wine is made and taste the finished product.

Later this month, visitors will be able to get an up-close-and-personal look at production from strategically placed windows which overlook the winery floor. There will be elevator access to this second floor viewing area and barrier-free access to the downstairs tasting room. It’s a great attraction for visitors and a definite shot-in-the-arm for the local economy.
