All Terrain Wheelchairs Available at Arkansas State Parks

Thanks to the efforts of Accessibility Across Arkansas, loaner all terrain wheelchairs are now available in select Arkansas State Parks. Unfortunately Accessibility Across Arkansas has since dissolved, but the all terrain wheelchair program remains intact. The program is now administered by Arkansas State Parks.

Visitors who borrow an all terrain wheelchair are required to sign a liability release form; and they are required to wear a seat belt whenever they are in the chair. Additionally, the all terrain wheelchairs may only be used on designated trails and areas within the parks. Reservations can be made by contacting the individual parks directly. The all terrain wheelchairs are available at these Arkansas State Parks.
